Length: East Caucasian turs stand up to 1 m (39 in) tall at the shoulder.

Eastern Caucasian Tur

Eastern Caucasian Tur’s have large but narrow bodies and short legs. They generally have a dark chestnut coat in winter and a lighter chestnut coat in summer. Males have slightly lyre-shaped horns which reach around 90 cm (35 in) in length, while in females they are much smaller (30 cm or 12 in.

East Caucasian turs live in rough mountainous terrain making the hunt challenging.

Hunting licenses are required by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for both native and exotic game. You can purchase a license here at the Morani River Ranch or visit their website to purchase a license or call them at 1-800-792-1112.

We hunt 365 days per year, but please note that all hunts are booked on a first come, first served basis. We will make every effort to accommodate your plans and schedules.
