The skin of river buffaloes is black, but some specimens may have dark slate-coloured skin. Swamp buffaloes have a grey skin at birth but become slate blue later. Their horns grow outward, and curve in a semicircle, but always remain more or less on the plane of the forehead.

Hunting licenses are required by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for both native and exotic game. You can purchase a license here at the Morani River Ranch or visit their website to purchase a license or call them at 1-800-792-1112.
We hunt 365 days per year, but please note that all hunts are booked on a first come, first served basis. We will make every effort to accommodate your plans and schedules.
