lives at the Morani River Ranch with his wife, Kim, daughter Samantha
and son, Remington. He has two grown children, one of which lives
and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the other is serving in the
US Army in Iraq. Butch also served with the Military Police in Germany
and Colorado.
Butch has been a hunter most of his life. You could say he has
hunting in his blood. He began hunting at the age of 8 and has never
“out-grown” his passion. He excels in both bow and rifle
hunting. Butch is an accomplished rifle and pistol marksman and
instructor for both hunting and combat/defense purposes. He also
adds tournament archer to those accomplishments.
For more than 20 years of his more than 30 year hunting career,
he has been a guide and outfitted many hunting adventures in North
America, Europe, Mexico and Africa. He owned his own outfitting
business in New Mexico which specialized in the hunting of Trophy
Elk. He also managed several archery shops in the Albuquerque area
for 6 years.
Butch has several entries in both the Pope & Young and Safari
Club International record books, and holds two National Barebow
Championships.
