 Thanks so much for having Charlotte and I as your guests along with Jim. You have a spectacular Ranch with some of the nicest accommodations we have ever seen.  We felt like family from the moment we arrived and it is very apparent you are great people that know how to take care of people.

Jim shot a few animals at (another ranch.)  The whole time, he was bragging about Morani River and for good reason.  When we arrived at (the other ranch) with the trophies you guys killed at Morani, there were a lot of great comments by all the guides and lots of jaws dropping. You guys did Jim right as you always do.

Jim is already talking about coming back to hunt Morani next year, and Charlotte and I would love to join him for this hunt.  I want an Axis and we would both like to shoot a Blackbuck.  I may have one of my young guys that Jim is very fond of join us as well if that is okay.  He would also want to shoot his first Axis.  It could be a family hunt for all...

I would like to thank you for having us at your ranch.  We had a wonderful time.  The kids really enjoyed the experience as well as the hunters and non hunters.  Your guides are excellent with working with the children and I want to thank you for this and having a 5 star hunting ranch.  I couldn't think of anything to improve on this.  It makes me jealous of having something so nice...from bottom to top, a very professional organization.  The guides were extra friendly & a great place for the family & kids.

Upon arrival, the Reid and Amlong families have always made Morani River Ranch my home. The west-Texas ranch is a combination of game breeding facility. resort, hunting area and hideaway nestled in the canyons north of Uvalde, Texas.

Having hunted there many times, I have a storehouse of fond memories involving some awful jokes, great food, scenic vistas and relaxing atmosphere.  What is most impressive is the dedication of everyone to the land and wildlife residing on it.  There is a wide variety of game and non-game species yet no damage done to the habitat due to over grazing.  The delicate blend of consumptive and non-consumptive activity is handled by the owners and staff with seeming ease.

A number of fine trophy animals have been taken off the ranch, yet, it continues to produce better ones each year.  Management of quality stock produces quality trophies.

Owner Kevin Reid and Manager Butch Amlong continue to teach me many hunting and shooting skills that I missed somewhere else along the trail in my 50-plus years of hunting.

Morani River Ranch is the dream of Kevin and he makes it available to others so that they can enjoy his dream, if only for a few days.
