Trophy Exotic & African Game Hunting Information

Exotic hunting at Morani River Ranch can be done year round. We have over 40 species of exotics from around the world. We use hunting to manage our breeding herds of exotics in order to keep a healthy balance between the number of animals and the habitat in which they live.  Our 3,000-acre Hill Country ranch is very similar to many of the species’ home environments, especially the African species, and they thrive in our terrain and climate. Many of the exotic species raised in Texas have healthier populations here than they do in their native lands. There is a commitment in Texas to the propagation and healthy establishment of many endangered species that is a benefit to the species and mankind alike.
